Backyard Transformation With Outdoor Bar and Lounge With Fireplace

This project was a complete backyard renovation. The existing space had a large yard with a small worn out deck that lacked functionality. The goal of this design was to create a space that could be used for entertaining and would feel like an extension of their home.

Easily accessible from multiple entries off the rear of the house, the client can walk out to their new space consisting of a Trex composite deck, stained cedar tongue and groove covered roof with integrated can lights, fans, and heaters to be able to enjoy the space at any time in any weather conditions. 

The space is divided into three areas – lounge, bar, and hot tub area. In the lounge area we designed a custom floor-to-ceiling natural stone fireplace with a mounted outdoor TV attached. Sofa seating surrounds this focal point.

The bar/grilling area is one of the best residential entertainment spaces in Denver! This space consists of a massive “U” shaped outdoor kitchen with a stucco finish to match the house & granite countertops, built-in grill, range hood, kegerator, wine fridge, standard fridge, trash pull, storage drawers. High top seating is built into the kitchen with a view of a second mounted outdoor TV.
